I’m literally wasted. I have spent some time today crying out to my Heavenly Father…calling out His name and it flowed into crying out to God for our church family. I SO love our church family.
I have been listening to a worship song we will be doing this Sunday called “We Cry Out.” I must have listened to it over 10 times. Hundreds of times in the Old Testament we read how God’s people “cried out to the Lord” or “called on the name of the Lord.” Based on the number of times it’s mentioned, it seems to be a primary form of worship, or almost synonymous with the act of worship. Basically, God seems to respond to having His name called, cried, and sung out loud over and over again.
In the song “Adonai” the Lord is sovereign, “El Shaddai” The God Who is Sufficient for the Needs of His People is consistently sung over and over. Did you hear that? “El Shaddai” The God Who is Sufficient for the Needs of His People. I don’t know what your situation is, but I encourage you to CRY OUT to YOUR GOD…THE EL SHADDAI!!!! God seems to respond to having His name called, cried, and sung out over and over.
I found myself crying out to God in new realms.
I pray God will take you to higher levels of worship as you cry out and rely on His grace!
Here is a link…enjoy His presence! God has great things ahead for you.
We Cry Out
After reading your blog and going to the We Cry song you posted I found myself on my knees in my office with my hands raised crying out to God . Thank you for your post . I am praying for your church and your church staff.

Thanks so much! When we cry out He hears us! He is for you!
I read your blog, listened to the song and cried til i got a headache. I have Jesus in my heart and on my mind daily, but i often forget that we really do have to CRY out LOUD for HIM. I think we just get into a routine of same ole same ole prayers each day and forget what we’re really supposed to be doing, and that is, being Totally dependent on HIM by CRYING OUT TO HIM in everything. Thank you so much for reminding me of this and I’m coming to visit your church this sunday…………….Denise
