Humility means it is more important what God thinks instead of what men think. We are more concerned with receiving glory from one another than we are from God. When we want glory from one another I believe God calls that PRIDE.

Nothing can cure you of the desire to acceptance of men or the hurt and pain that comes when acceptance isn’t given except when the ONLY THING that is important is receiving the glory from God.

I believe that’s why it is said about Jesus is that He made himself of NO REPUTATION.

What’s more important to you..your reputation with men or your reputation with God?

I have been listening to a worship song we will be doing this Sunday called “We Cry Out.” I must have listened to it over 10 times. Hundreds of times in the Old Testament we read how God’s people “cried out to the Lord” or “called on the name of the Lord.” Based on the number of times it’s mentioned, it seems to be a primary form of worship, or almost synonymous with the act of worship. Basically, God seems to respond to having His name called, cried, and sung out loud over and over again.

In the song “Adonai” the Lord is sovereign, “El Shaddai” The God Who is Sufficient for the Needs of His People is consistently sung over and over. Did you hear that? “El Shaddai” The God Who is Sufficient for the Needs of His People. I don’t know what your situation is, but I encourage you to CRY OUT to YOUR GOD…THE EL SHADDAI!!!! God seems to respond to having His name called, cried, and sung out over and over.

I found myself crying out to God in new realms.

I pray God will take you to higher levels of worship as you cry out and rely on His grace!
